    The cup-shaped, green flower base of Erepsia inclaudens within which the seeds will grow ends in the calyx, borne on at the tip of a longish, sturdy and pale pedicel. The five pointed sepals or calyx lobes are obscured here below the corolla that spreads wider. The deep mauve petals have the same colour on both surfaces (Marais, (Ed.), 2017; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
