The pale pink flowers of this Erica (with possibly a hint of purple) grow in small clusters, possibly at the tips of short side-branches. The photo was taken on the Piketberg Mountain in August. The plant is possibly a member of the Gypsocallis section in the Euerica subgenus of Erica.

The tubes are variable and uneven in shape, cylindrical to bulging near the base and narrowing before the mouth. The petal lobes curving out are short and rounded, often insignificant. Small, narrow sepals lie on the very back of the corolla tube, similar bracts well behind it.

The oblong and angular brown anthers are exserted fully, while little of the filaments are visible above the perianth. The straight, pinkish style is exserted far, its tiny stigma lobed and brown to dull red (Baker and Oliver, 1967).
