The leaves of Erica mammosa grow in whorls of four to six or scattered upon the hairy branches. Erect on the angled branch in picture, the mostly straight leaves spread or ascend around the stems.

The leaves are about linear to faintly lance-shaped, triangular in cross-section from a slight keel. There is a pointed tip and hardly a stalk. Leaf length is from 6 mm to 10 mm (Manning and Helme, 2024; Manning, 2007; Baker and Oliver, 1967; iNaturalist).
