The leaves of Erica pubescens grow in threes around the stem, stalkless and spreading. They are linear to narrowly lanceolate and blunt-tipped. The margins are rolled under, the midrib whitish on the green upper surface on the plant in picture. The hairy surfaces may be pale green, here dark green (Baker and Oliver, 1967; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
