The dry, ripe fruit capsule of Euphorbia pulvinata splits open along its three lobe seams and frees the seeds. The capsule is up to 5 mm in diameter, usually stalkless. The ovoid to pear-shaped seeds are smooth and pale brown, up to 3 mm long.

The stem-tip on which the fruit has grown is nine-angled; stems may have from seven to ten stem ridges, wings or angles.

Dry, pointed leaves of the season are still persisting, not for long though.

Some of the spines are smooth and dry, others not yet, as tiny, scale-like bracts may be scattered on the young spines that started off as peduncles. The spines are hairless (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; http://www.llifle.com; https://www.plantbook.co.za; https://worldofsucculents.com).
