Euphorbia sekukuniensis elusive shade

Summer can be exceedingly hot in the veld domain of Euphorbia sekukuniensis.

The sweating stroller seeking respite from the midday rays rarely catches shade under a Sekhukhune candelabra tree though, given its tiny, far above the head crown. Staying in the cooler patch for long is particularly hard, cant be done while remaining in the same spot.

To admire these trees a little distance is best anyway (Frandsen, 2017; Coates Palgrave, 2002).
