The leaves of Euphorbia multifolia grow singly from the tips of the numerous tubercles covering the stems. The long, very narrow leaves are channelled on top, linear in shape with abrupt, blunt tips. Leaf dimensions are about 5 cm long and 5 mm wide.
The blue-grey of the leaves around the spaced stems in picture contrasts against the yellow and green of the false flowers at the stem-tips. The leaves are like sparse, bluish hairs, thick and spreading, straight or curving around the flowering stems (Frandsen, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://www.llifle.com).
