The flowers of Euryops nodosus are small, growing solitary on long stalks. The ray florets are yellow, oblong and variously curved. Fewer than ten of them surround the yellow discs. Leaves are narrow, linear, fresh green, furrowed with downward curving margins. The leaves often curve inwards and seem to be of unequal length much of the time.
Only these dry seeds or empty calyx involucres were to be seen when this specimen posed for the photo. The plant is not considered to be threatened yet. It is not much browsed (Shearing and Van Heerden, 2008; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
