Euryops speciosissimus leaves

The needle-like leaves of Euryops speciosissimus are fleshy, clustered near the branch-tips in almost broom-like fashion. Low down the branches are bare.

Flowerhead peduncles are long and naked, only slightly thicker than the leaves but sometimes without their green colouring (Manning, 2007; www.plantzafrica.com).
