Kalanchoe sexangularis purple leaves

Purple Kalanchoe sexangularis leaves are also seen, sometimes on plants that have dark green ones quite near the stem-tips. Red and purple leaves may appear on the same plant.

The plant photographed grows under a tree in a garden at Onrus near the sea, receiving only morning sun (Smith, et al, 2017; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
