Justicia adhatodoides flowers grow crowded in compact, thyrse-shaped clusters of about six from upper leaf axils.

The inflorescence has a rigid, straight, green peduncle of 5 cm to 8 cm long. There are leaf-like bracts (and small bracteoles) below the flowers. Some of the narrow, oblanceolate bracts are visible in the photo.

The bell-shaped calyces are hairless, their tubes longer than their lobes. The corollas are the opposite: longer lobes than tube (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Schmidt, et al, 2002; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
