The leaves of Lampranthus reptans grow in opposite pairs, densely decussate at stem-tips, as the nodes are so short that they appear tufted.
The leaves are short, succulent and three-angled, borne erectly. Red, pointed leaf-tips with curved-in keel tops and whitish surface dots are present. The leaf dimensions are 15 mm to 25 mm long and 5 mm to 6 mm in diameter (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
