A Ledebouria socialis inflorescence produces from about ten to thirty flowers on an erect flowering stem that may be purple to brownish. The flowers spread to a diameter of about 4 mm.

Bloomtime lasts from before midwinter to early summer, sometimes only in spring or more prolific then. When the oldest, lower flowers get ready for fruiting below the open ones, they close again, resembling the buds still visible at the top of the raceme.

The seeds are small and glossy black (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
