This Kniphofia plant may be Kniphofia uvaria, although there is doubt from the whitish open perianths that bulge slightly before their tips. The perianths have green vein lines. The yellow styles turn up as they protrude, further than the yellow filaments tipped with small brown anthers.
The bright green leaves are well shorter than the inflorescences, pointing up and folding in.
The plant resprouts after fire, being rhizomatous. It grows here in shrubveld (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
