    The styles above this old Leucospermum prostratum flowerhead are no longer quite straight. Neither are the perianth segments curled back around the style bases still red. Or all the stigmas at style tips still pale coloured. The styles are from 12 mm to 15 mm long.

    Fruiting is an important, yet not visually so spectacular phase in the lives of most plants, as flowering mostly has it over fruiting in ostentation.
