Leucospermum cordifolium on a fynbos brow

This Leucospermum cordifolium bush has spread over rock in its montane perch near Hermanus in November. Flowerheads are scattered over some of its many stem-tips, not so densely grown that the Phaenocoma prolifera plant sharing its view cannot steal a little floral thunder. Sunny days do much for viewing fynbos.
