The simple, stalkless, grey-felted leaves of Leucospermum reflexum var. luteum are elliptic to oblong or oblanceolate. There are two or three hard, yellowish, glandular teeth at each leaf-tip, rendering the tips angular to step-like.

The leaves in picture deviate from symmetric shape in several cases, their curving not only laterally. The leaves become from 2 cm to 5,5 cm long and 7 mm wide (Manning, 2009; Coates Palgrave, 2002; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; http://pza.sanbi.org).
