The oblong to elliptic leaves of Leucospermum catherinae are simple and alternate to scattered up the hairy stems that are sometimes reddish. The leaf tapers to the base where it is most hairy. Slight tapering occurs to the tips of some leaves, where three or four red, cartilaginous teeth are present.

The pale, grey-green blades have pale midribs and a faint, soft, hairy covering when it is young, becoming leathery with age. The leaves are from 9 cm to 13,5 cm long and up to 2,5 cm wide (Manning, 2007; Eliovson, 1983; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
