These yellowish leaves on a female Leucadendron pubescens plant were photographed at Kagga Kamma. The leaf-tips are pink and single-toothed on the oblanceolate blades with slightly thickish, smoothly entire margins.
The fruit pubescence is not quite lost from the about dry, globose cone already partly opened. When these fruits are young, they emit a yeasty or sweet fragrance (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
