Polygala fruticosa

The southern shores form of Polygala fruticosa or butterfly bush was carefully selected by Kirstenbosch horticulturists from coastal plants for experimental introduction as a garden plant. The result was the welcome arrival of this good flowering shrub in many South African gardens.
