The pale grey woody branches of Dyschoriste rogersii may be sparse and scandent, the plant straggly, showing bare parts among the leaf and flower clusters. There are numerous small side-branches emerging above leaf whorls, the leaves ascending upon the stems. The bark is longitudinally lined with thin ridges or fissures (Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iSpot; www.sntc.org.sz; https://wildflowernursery.co.za; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
