Solanum campylacanthum subsp. panduriforme flowers grow solitary or in small clusters. Each flower in this cluster has a longish, hairy stalk and a green calyx ending in narrow sepal lobes that look small at the back of the comparatively large corolla.

Inflorescences are starting at other stem tips in the photo.

The pale mauve corolla resembles a sheet that missed ironing. Solanum flowers of several species share this general appearance with fine variations (Pooley, 1998; Van Wyk and Malan, 1997; iSpot).
