The simple, wedge-shaped leaves of Centella triloba are mid-green and hairless, growing in tufts from the ground. Leaf shape is obovate, i.e. wider near the tip than the base. The leaf tapers at the base, broadens towards its angular apical teeth. Showing mostly three teeth at the leaf tips in picture, leaves may have up to nine teeth.
Leaf length is 2 cm to 5 cm, their long stalks adding up to another 6 cm (Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
