This Adenium swazicum shrublet was seen flowering in January in the Kruger National Park. Pale corolla lobes on the open flowers have dark pink outer (lower) surfaces, coloured as the furled buds that are about to open. The flower calyx is short at the flower base, the corolla tube long. The flowers grow in clusters at the stem tips.

The long leaves are upturned, their margins hairy. In picture the upper leaf surfaces are also somewhat glossy (Smith, et al, 2017; Frandsen, 2017; Smith and Crouch, 2009; Onderstall, 1984; iNaturalist).
