The fruits of Aristea africana are clustered densely in picture at the tip of the flower stalk. They are pale green, short and three-winged, some red notable on the wing rim tops.

The tightly twisted corolla remains persist like contorted black worms at the fruit tips. Also variously curved are the long, hair-like fringes of the spathes still subtending the fruit (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; iSpot).
