Agathosma ovata when petals have dropped off

After flowering, Agathosma ovata petals drop off first while the short, yellowish sepals persist as a small, five-pointed cup around the escalating ovary.

Some cups have long, white styles protruding from their centres. These styles grew earlier in the flowers from the ovary tops, elongating in their later stages.

A younger set of greenish yellow buds has developed among the old flowers, also from the stem-tip.
