    The Agathosma crenulata stem-tips in picture are dull cream with only a hint of red. The leaves alternate up the stems on stubby stalks.

    Five, narrow, pale green sepals with red margins clutch the unopened corollas of the stalked buds in picture. Two minute bracteoles are present at each calyx base (Manning, 2009; Bean and Johns, 2005; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000).
