    As the Agathosma riversdalensis flower cluster ages, the petals diminish, in picture faster than most of the other parts. Stamens and staminodes form a wiry tangle with other floral bits of white and purple in various shades. The staminodes are tall and purplish, the filaments white (Manning, 2007; Mustart, et al, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
