    The petals of the Acmadenia alternifolia flower spread here around a green looking flower mouth. The petal lobes touch each other, in an obovate to somewhat rhombic shape, as nearly all the petal tips taper to mucronate tips. A little individualism is portrayed by one rounded petal.

    There is nothing rounded about the leaf tips protruding from below the flower (iSpot; JSTOR).
