Adenium oleifolium flowers

The inflorescence of Adenium oleifolium is an about sessile, few-flowered, stem-tip cyme that appears with the leaves. There are linear bracts below the flowers. The flower has a short pedicel.

The corolla tube widens slightly to the flower mouth, pale yellowish or whitish on the outside near the base. The five spreading corolla lobes are pointed, slightly wavy and may differ in shades of pink to red or purple, the corolla striped inside the throat.

The fruit is a pair of pale grey to grey-brown follicles, spindle-shaped (cylindrical and tapering at both ends) and faintly hairy.
