    Antimima paripetala is a low-growing, rounded subshrub that produces many branches.

    The species distribution is in the west of the Northern Cape from the northern part of the Richtersveld to Hondeklipbaai.

    The habitat is succulent Karoo where the plants grow on rocky slopes and sheets of quartzite rock. Although range-restricted, the plant is not considered to be threatened in its habitat early in the twenty first century, due to its remoteness from human activity (Smith, et al, 1998; iNaturalist; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
