Chaenostoma revolutum leaves display their decussate leaf arrangement up the stems, opposite in pairs and perpendicular to adjacent pairs as seen from above.
The leaf-shape is more lanceolate than oblong, the tip bluntly pointed to rounded. The convex upper surface is accentuated by the rolled under margins. The midrib is prominent on the lower surface that is paler than the upper one.
Leaf dimensions are up to 25 mm long and 5 mm wide (Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
