The yellow or orange flowerheads of Cotula duckittiae grow solitary on long, wiry and faintly hairy peduncles. There is a row of short, oblong and round-tipped ray florets spreading around the many-flowered central disc of every head. The heads are from 1,5 cm to 2 cm in diameter.

Flowering happens during slightly more than the first half of spring. The photo was taken in September.

The fruits are dispersed by wind (Manning, 2009; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
