Cineraria geifolia inflorescence

The flowerheads of Cineraria geifolia grow on branched stalks in corymb-shaped clusters at stem tips. Each small daisy-shaped flowerhead has seven to eleven yellow ray florets and a prominent yellow disc. They are said to have an unpleasant scent. The flowerhead measures about 1 cm in diameter.

Flowering happens from late winter through spring, although some flowers may show themselves out of season (Manning, 2007; Clarke and Mackenzie, 2007; Mustart, et al, 1997).
