Caputia pyramidata leaves

The leaves of Caputia pyramidata, previously Senecio pyramidatus, the finger bush, are cylindrical and curving inwards to erect positions of their upper parts. Leaves are clustered at branch tips as old leaves tend to drop off. The leaves are stalkless. Leaf colour is pale grey, covered in a whitish bloom, becoming greener and darker with age. Leaf tips are hard and markedly pointed.

The finger bush grows easily from stem cuttings. It is a worthy full sun garden subject with low watering requirements (Gledhill, 1981; JSTOR; iSpot).
