    These Crassula subaphylla var. subaphylla branches found their way through the woody stems of its shelter shrub; a growth adventure aimed at seeing some sun.

    Tall and dense vegetation may inhibit smaller plants, allowing them limited space until the seniors die, or a fire levels all for a new parade to start from the ashes. During the countless, milder ecological microhistories forever surging and declining in the bush, the sagging of an overhead bush to one side brings light and growth incentives to minor members and underlings of the local plant community.
