    The decussate, sessile leaves of Crassula lactea are ovate with pointed tips. The blades are thinly succulent with smooth, horny margins. The dull green leaves are up to 3 cm long.

    A row of milky dots is usually visible inside the leafs marginal rim that may appear yellowish. These milky dots are hydathodes, which are modified pores exuding drops of water from the leaves (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
