Crassula setulosa var. setulosa leaf rosette mat

This green succulent-leaf mat formed by Crassula setulosa comprises many stem-tip leaf rosettes. The six varieties of the species cause some bewilderment in identification. The bewilderment may increase when a totally non-crassula white flower grows through the mat. The plant found near the Sani Pass may be var. setulosa (Smith, et al, 2017; iNaturalist).
