Crassula swaziensis rocks with grass and lichen

This is how Crassula swaziensis often greets observers: In the open, not scared of sunlight, near rocks in grassland, spreading short branches ending in stalkless, paired, usually erect leaves. The common name of money stonecrop refers to the coin-like leaf discs. The plant height of 20 cm to 30 cm usually mentioned in descriptions, is meant for when flowers are present (Smith, et al, 2017; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
