The leaves of Crassula capitella subsp. thyrsiflora may be long and narrow, succulent triangles, isosceles triangles to be precise. The stem-leaves decrease in size towards the stem-tip. Different shades of green, yellow, pink, red and purple nearly produce a rainbow plant!
The typical decussate leaf positioning of the species is still there. This means that successive, opposite leaf pairs on a stem appear at right angles above the previous pair, resulting in four vertical leaf arrays.
C. capitella subsp. meyeri has narrower, acutely pointed leaves (iSpot).
