The leaves of Crassula deceptor are closely together in four-angled columna.

The surfaces are whitish and powdery with green spots showing through, also with colour variations between greener and redder leaves following the seasons. The upper surface of the leaf is characteristically demarkated by a distinct V-shaped line (Williamson, 2010; iNaturalist).
