Crassula muscosa var. obtusifolia leaves

Four ranks of thickly succulent, mostly triangular leaves of Crassula muscosa var. obtusifolia overlap and ascend densely on its fairly erect, thin stems. The pale green leaf colour may be limited to the rainy season.

The photo was taken in August during a good flowering season in the Goegap Nature Reserve, too early for this plant’s flowers (iNaturalist; www.llifle.com).
