The nearly circular, flat blades of Crassula umbella leaves differ in both size and margins that are entire or scalloped.
Hairless and dark green to dull green or yellow green, the creamy veins radiating from the centre are boldly developed on the older, larger leaves. These veins peter out before the margins, branching a little in some cases before disappearing from sight.
The cluster of buds are present in August on the smaller leaves as well, weather permitting (Frandsen, 2017; iNaturalist).
