    Crassula pyramidalis stems are fully concealed by the tidy geometric pattern of exposed leaf margins; the leaf blades also concealed. Ample in angles, not quite in pyramids, the specific name of pyramidalis does come across as appropriate.

    In building terms there is elegance in the neat columnar ascending of the adpressed, triangular leaf blade arrays, although the economy of materials used in shaping the structure might be questioned. The candelabra style of stem branching topped with white floral adornment is unmatched in the karoid veld (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; iNaturalist).
