    The dark flower stems of Crassula sericea var. sericea emerge from the stem-tip leaf rosettes, sparsely covered in short, soft, pale hairs. Small, opposite bracts are well-spaced at a few stem nodes below the branched inflorescences.

    The flowers growing in dense capitate clusters are white fading to brown, the anthers visible in the flower mouths also brown (Frandsen, 2017).
