Seen from above, the faintly hairy and silvery pink Mimetes splendidus inflorescence leaves vary greatly in shape and size. From oblong to lanceolate, and ovate with pointed or truncated tips, there are flat to wavy blades, as well as ones curving down in their midsections. Glandular teeth are visible at some inflorescence leaf tips (Rebelo, 1995; iNaturalist).
