Othonna ramulosa older leaves

Older Othonna ramulosa leaves in picture seem flatter and slightly wrinkled from loss of succulence in dry conditions. The youngest leaves, in contrast, are almost cylindrical and lack the purple discolouring in their upper parts brought on later by the stress (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
