The leaves of Othonna ramulosa grow in tufts at the tips of small branchlets alternating up the larger, woody stems. The flat blades curve variously, although there seems to be a sunlight preference that inclines them in the same direction.
The leaf surfaces are often not quite smooth, although always hairless. Some leaves deviate from oblong, shaped slightly oblanceolate, i.e. lance-shaped with the widest part nearer the tip than the base (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
