This ageing Osteospermum sinuatum var. sinuatum flowerhead still retains some curled ray florets and about the standard quota of brown, dried disc florets.
Its green stalk is tall and straight, the green involucre almost concealed by the rays (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997).
