The opposite pair of Microloma sagittatum leaves displays elongated blades, angular basal lobes and pointed tips. The leaves grow on fairly short stalks, here notably curved.

The dark green blades are faintly glossy and minutely to conspicuously hairy. The sunken midrib and rolled under margins are standard features. The leaves become 2,5 cm long (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
